GAWI (Guided Actions With Intention) softly launched its first workshop, Gawang Kamay: The Art of Meaningful Making, on August 13, 2025, at The Bistro Rooftop in Pasig.
The event brought together women leaders of the Soroptimist International of the Americas Philippines Region whose work continues to create lasting opportunities for women and girls, shaping brighter futures through access to education, training, and empowerment.

At the heart of the soft launch was a paper flower-sculpture painting workshop themed “A Tribute to Filipino Flora.” Each creation honored our nation’s most cherished blooms:
- the Waling-Waling, the “Queen of Philippine Orchids,” symbolizing sacred beauty and strength
- and the Sampaguita, our national flower, representing humility, purity, and devotion.

Much like flowers, women embody resilience, grace, and the quiet strength that transforms. Through painting their Paper Blooms, participants turned a simple act of craft into a mindful moment of reflection, a way to honor heritage, connect with nature, and celebrate the art of making with meaning.
This premiere workshop is the living heart of our brand; blending conscious intention with timeless tradition. From humble, recycled paper, new forms of beauty emerged, a reminder that even the smallest creations can hold profound meaning when guided by intention.
